What is the Draycott 100 Club?

This is a ‘small society lottery’ which DVF/DiB are starting in June 2022, it will run every month thereafter. A maximum of 100 numbers will be made available each month for a £5 stake for a number. There will be a first, second and third prize awarded in each month’s draw worth 20%, 12.5% and 7.5% of the monthly takings. This could be as much as £100, £62.50 and £37.50 if all 100 numbers are sold. There will also be a larger Christmas draw worth twice as much. All remaining funds will go to help DiB to keep the village looking lovely with flower displays etc.

Why did DVF/DiB start this?

DVF and Dib are entirely funded from individual donations from residents and from businesses. Since the Covid pandemic many businesses are themselves struggling to recover or have ceased trading. Consequently, these donations have reduced considerably and so we looked at how we could both plug this shortfall and have a little fun at the same time. We hope to raise some much-needed funds and for all those taking part to have some fun and to enjoy a bonus once in a while. We will have a public prize draw at The Coach and Horses at 7pm on the third Wednesday of each month where a member of the public will be asked to draw the numbers.

Registration

The prize draw is open to anyone over the age of 16 (in line with legislation laid out in the Gambling Act 2005) and shall be limited to a maximum of 100 allocated numbers each month. The prize draw is held as a ‘Small Society Lottery’ as described in the Gambling Act.

Subscriptions are by Standing Order payable between 1st and 10th of the month.
If you use online banking you will be able to set up a Standing Order directly with your bank.

Here are the steps to follow to join in the fun - we need to confirm your allocated number/s before you set up your standing order...

1. See the numbers in green below - these are currently available

2. Email us at draycottvillagefund@hotmail.com with your chosen number/s and your full name

3. We will confirm your chosen number/s are free by return email and reserve them for a few days.

4. You can then set up your standing order for £5 per number, per month. Use your number/s and surname as the reference (e.g 17 Smith or 17 & 31 Smith)

5. Please email confirmation that you have set up the standing order to draycottvillagefund@hotmail.com

6. Your numbers will be placed in the draw only if your money has been received by the second week of that month

We will contact you by email if you win. We will then need your bank account details to arrange the transfer.
