An exciting expansion to our popular Open Gardens event is coming this June 7th and 8th
The Draycott Open Gardens Festival!
Open Gardens will still be the core feature but with the addition of live music across a number of venues as well as artist displays and craft stalls in various locations in the village!
We are keen to support local and shine a light on talent within our community and the surrounding area, so you do not need to be a seasoned professional, just someone looking to share their work at a popular family-friendly event.
This is a community event organised by volunteers with funds raised going towards projects within Draycott. We therefore ask for a small donation from artists and stallholders. We do not request a donation from musicians but equally musicians will not be paid. Artists and musicians will all be advertised in the festival guide and on social media if the relevant information is completed in the application forms below.

Interested in Opening your Garden?
If you are interested in opening your garden then please get in touch as soon as possible but by 14th April at the latest. We are always keen to find new gardens to add to the list; it doesn’t matter how big or small or tidy your garden is as it will add variety and there is always something interesting to be seen.
Please complete the below form and we will get back to you in due course.
Interested in Playing Music at the event?
We would love as many musicians as possible and at all levels to join us for this festival. Amateurs are very welcome. It is not a competition, simply an opportunity to share your talent in a relaxed, family-friendly environment for the enjoyment of our wonderful community.
Musicians will be allocated a venue, which may either be a private garden or within one of the village halls depending on practicalities.
Music will run from 12 noon til 4:30pm each day. Please indicate in the form below if you can be available to play for this whole period (with breaks) or for only a certain duration.
Deadline for applications is 14th April
Response to your application will be by 5th May
Interested in displaying your work?
Are you a local artist, photographer, sculptor or crafter who would like to showcase their work to the local community?
Art displays and stalls will mainly be centred in one of our two church halls, with the potential for some displays in some of the open gardens depending on interest and practicalities. As the event is officially open 11am-5pm we ask that you have your display/stall set up by 10:45am (with set up from 10am unless prior agreement) and maintain it until at least 4pm (4:30pm at the latest). If attending both dates then agreement may be made for set-ups to be kept secure overnight, however this is not guaranteed and if done then is done so at your own risk.
Tables are provided if allocated to a church hall venue.
We request a donation of £10 per artist for each day, and request these payments are made within 7 days of confirmation of successful application. This is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
